About Linda Care

Background to Linda Care

Linda care educational center started in 2006 as a Baby Care Center for orphaned and vulnerable children of Kibera. The reg.No.is DGSD/NWD/5/4/0/(620).It started with 5 students and the number has been increasing each year. The school started as a day care to enable young girls/boys to return to school and young women/men to look for casual jobs. The school has one classroom and a hall that has been partitioned into smaller rooms to accommodate the growing number of pupils. Due to financial challenges, Linda Care has not been able to put up permanent structures for the school and the premise is currently made up of iron sheet for the roof and mud walls and floors.

To be the leading providers of high quality holisic education for orphans and vulnerable children,street children of kibera slums.This will be done by showing mercy and restoring hope to vulnerable children through providing basic needs,shelter,food,education and medication.
